Zelienople Municipal Airport (KPJC)
Visiting Zelienople Airport?
The airport is nestled in the hills of northern Pennsylvania, creating a challenge for visitors. If approaching from the east, the runway can be hidden by a small ridge. Be vigilant looking for traffic and monitor 122.9, as KPJC is home to the Condor Aero Club, Ravotti Air (a flight school), Spiker Helicopters, Private Jet Center (an Air Charter Operator), as well as an additional (30) based aircraft.
Allied Aviators is located in the northwest most building, second hangar unit to the east (Hangar 704), as pictured below.
From the Landside:
From the town of Zelienople, head west on Route 588. Cross the railroad tracks, and bear left at the “Y” to remain on Rt. 588. You’ll see the airport on your right. Turn right at the airport sign, and proceed north on Tasa Drive as far as you can go, then turn right. We’re in the first building, second door – 704 Tasa Drive.
From the Airside:
If you’re approaching from the south, remember that you’ll be under the 4000 ft outer shelf of the PIT Class B. If VMC, PIT Approach will offer the visual to Runway 35, which is serviced by REIL, PAPI, and MIRL lighting. After rolling out, exit on to Taxiway A. Exit Taxiway A onto the North Connector. Follow the “throat” westerly between the buildings to Hangar 704.
Further to the south is Private Jet Center, our FBO, and the self-service fuel farm.
